Who is behind the site?

The site is run by private individuals (the Mønster family, see the bottom of the page) and has nothing to do with the Playa Tropical building or its office. Send questions about your information using the form on Contact us.

Cookies

  • No cookies for ordinary visitors. That is why there is no cookie banner either.
  • The members' area: If you log in, the site sets one necessary cookie (pt_medlem), which remembers that you are logged in. It disappears when you close the browser.

The visit counter

We count visits without cookies. For each page view we store which page, the language, which website you came from (domain name only), whether it is a mobile, and how long the page was open. So that the same visitor is not counted several times on the same day, the server creates a code from the IP address, browser and date using a secret key. The code changes every day, and the IP address itself is not stored. The information is deleted after 13 months.

The contact form

When you write to us, we store your name, e-mail, subject, message, language, IP address and browser. The message is also sent as an e-mail to our mailbox so that we can reply to you. We only use the IP address and browser to stop spam and abuse. In the database everything is deleted automatically after 6 months. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in being able to reply and keeping the form free of abuse (Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation).

Register your interest

In the Members' area you can register if you would like to hear from us when membership opens to new members. We store your name, e-mail and telephone number (if you enter it) because you have given your consent. You can always withdraw your consent and have the information deleted by writing to us.

Members

Member accounts are created by us. We store the name, e-mail and an encrypted version of the password – never the password itself.

Protection against bots

To stop bots and password guessing, the server counts attempts per IP address. The address is only stored as an encrypted code (hash) and is deleted after 24 hours.

  • Maps: The maps on the site are from OpenStreetMap. When a map is shown, your browser fetches the map tiles directly from the OpenStreetMap Foundation (tile.openstreetmap.org), which thereby sees your IP address. Read the OpenStreetMap Foundation's privacy policy.
  • Videos: The videos are not embedded. YouTube only learns anything when you yourself click and open the video on YouTube.
  • Links to other sites (e.g. Google Maps, Facebook and the restaurants' websites): When you click, the other site's rules apply.
  • Fonts are hosted on our own server. Nothing is fetched from Google Fonts.

Where is the information stored?

The site and the database are hosted by the web host e-studio.dk, which stores the information on our behalf. We do not sell or pass on information to others.

We warmly recommend e-studio: a Danish web host with fast and friendly support, stable operation and security under control. They are extremely skilled, and we are very happy with the collaboration.

People on the site

The history and the photo album are based on Club Andalucia's archive and mention people and show pictures from the club's life over many years. If you are mentioned or appear in a picture yourself, or one of your relatives does, and you would like it corrected or removed, please write to us.

Your rights

You have the right to know what we have stored about you, and to have it corrected or deleted. You can also object or ask to receive a copy of the information. Write to us via Contact us. If you are dissatisfied, you can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet).
